Shanone’s Zapier integration gives your agent 9 tools for triggering Zapier’s AI Actions and inspecting your existing Zaps, connected apps, and Zap templates — a lightweight bridge into Zapier’s much larger automation ecosystem rather than a full Zapier admin API.

Getting Started

Create a Zapier Access Token

Generate a token from the Zapier Developer Platform.

Connect via API key

In the Shanone dashboard, go to Integrations → Zapier and paste the Access Token.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for zapier_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

Call zapier_get_action_input_fields for the action first — required fields vary per action and per connected app, so don’t assume a fixed schema across actions.
Some actions run asynchronously; use zapier_get_action_run with the run ID returned by zapier_run_action to check whether it actually completed.
Only AI Actions explicitly enabled for your Zapier account (via Zapier’s AI Actions setup) are exposed here — check zapier_list_apps/zapier_list_authentications to confirm the underlying app connection exists in Zapier first.
