Getting Started

Connect via OAuth

Ask your agent to do something with Outlook (e.g. “find my next meeting with the design team”), or connect proactively from Integrations in the Shanone dashboard.

Authorize the Microsoft account

Approve Microsoft’s OAuth consent screen for the mailbox and calendar Shanone should act on.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for outlook_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

Check the exact payload shape with shanone_get_tool_schema for outlook_send_mail — recipients are nested objects ({"emailAddress": {"address": "..."}}), not flat email strings.
Delta tokens expire after extended inactivity. Call the delta tool without a token to restart the sync, then persist the new @odata.deltaLink for subsequent calls.
Use outlook_list_event_instances to find the specific instance’s ID, then outlook_update_event_instance rather than outlook_update_event on the series master.
Room availability depends on the room list/mailbox actually being provisioned as a resource mailbox in Microsoft 365 — confirm with outlook_list_room_lists that the expected room list exists first.
