Getting Started

Connect via OAuth

Ask your agent to do something with Backlog (e.g. “list open issues in my project”), or connect proactively from Integrations in the Shanone dashboard.

Authorize your Backlog space

Approve Backlog’s OAuth consent screen for the specific space (subdomain) you want Shanone to access — Backlog’s OAuth is scoped per-space rather than per-organization.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for backlog_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

Backlog’s OAuth is scoped to a single space (subdomain) at connection time — if you need to work across multiple Backlog spaces, reconnect the integration for each one.
Issue types, categories, and custom fields are all project-specific. Call backlog_get_issue_types or backlog_get_categories for the target project first to get valid IDs.
Confirm the base and branch names exactly match existing Git branches in backlog_get_git_repository — Backlog won’t auto-correct a mistyped branch name.
