Getting Started

Get your Twilio credentials

Grab your Account SID and Auth Token from the Twilio Console dashboard.

Connect via API key

In the Shanone dashboard, go to Integrations → Twilio and enter both the Account SID and Auth Token — Twilio requires both together, not just one.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for twilio_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

Twilio requires both the Account SID and Auth Token to be set — Shanone’s connection check rejects a partially-configured integration, so double-check both fields in Integrations.
WhatsApp template messages must reference a template already approved in your Twilio Content Template catalog. Use twilio_list_content_templates to find a valid, approved template SID first.
Run twilio_search_available_phone_numbers first with a country code and area code/pattern — number availability varies significantly by region and number type (local/toll-free/mobile).
Recordings and transcriptions are scoped to a specific call or conference SID. Use twilio_list_call_recordings or twilio_list_conference_recordings with the right call/conference SID rather than expecting a global list.
