Shanone’s Miro integration gives your agent 47 tools for building out boards programmatically — every widget type (sticky notes, shapes, cards, text, images, frames, connectors) plus board sharing and tags.

Getting Started

Connect via OAuth

Ask your agent to do something with Miro (e.g. “add a sticky note to my roadmap board”), or connect proactively from Integrations in the Shanone dashboard.

Authorize the Miro workspace

Approve Miro’s OAuth consent screen for the team/workspace you want Shanone to act on.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for miro_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

Miro board coordinates are in a fixed canvas space, not pixels-on-screen — check miro_get_items on an existing board first to get a sense of the coordinate range in use before creating new items.
Bulk creation is all-or-nothing per request but limited to a maximum item count per call; split larger batches into multiple miro_bulk_create_items calls if you hit a size limit error.
Sharing requires an email invite to go through Miro’s own flow — the invited user must accept it; check miro_get_board_members to confirm pending vs. active status.
