Google Forms

Shanone’s Google Forms integration gives your agent 16 tools for building forms, managing questions, reading submitted responses, and wiring up webhook-style watches for new responses.

Getting Started

1

Connect via OAuth

Ask your agent to do something with Forms (e.g. “create a feedback form with 3 questions”), or connect proactively from Integrations in the Shanone dashboard.
2

Authorize the Google account

Approve Google’s OAuth consent screen for the account whose Forms Shanone should access.
3

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for google_forms_* tools will succeed.

Available Tools

Shanone provides 16 tools for Google Forms, organized into these categories:
google_forms_get_form, google_forms_create_form, google_forms_update_form_info, google_forms_update_settings
google_forms_add_question, google_forms_update_question, google_forms_delete_question, google_forms_move_question
google_forms_set_publish_settings
google_forms_list_responses, google_forms_get_response
google_forms_create_watch, google_forms_delete_watch, google_forms_list_watches, google_forms_renew_watch — subscribe to push notifications when a form’s responses or schema change

Common Use Cases

Survey generation

Draft a full form with multiple question types from a short description

Response summarization

Pull all responses to a form and summarize trends or flag notable answers

Publish control

Open or close a form for new responses at the right time

Live response alerts

Watch a form for new submissions and trigger a follow-up workflow

Troubleshooting

Check the exact payload shape with shanone_get_tool_schema for google_forms_add_question — question types (text, choice, scale, date, etc.) each require a differently shaped item body.
Watches require a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic configured on the connected project and expire periodically — call google_forms_renew_watch before expiry, or re-create the watch with google_forms_create_watch.
Forms responses can take a short time to index after submission; if they’re still missing, confirm the form ID is correct rather than the form’s edit URL ID versus its published URL ID, which differ.
