Getting Started

Connect via OAuth

Ask your agent to do something with PayPal (e.g. “list my unpaid invoices from this month”), or connect proactively from Integrations in the Shanone dashboard.

Authorize the PayPal account

Approve PayPal’s OAuth consent screen for the business account Shanone should act on.

Retry your request

Once connected, shanone_execute_tool calls for paypal_* tools will succeed.

Troubleshooting

The buyer must complete PayPal’s approval flow before paypal_capture_order can succeed — check paypal_get_order for the order’s current status first.
Confirm the webhook URL is publicly reachable and that paypal_list_available_events includes the event types you subscribed to; use paypal_simulate_webhook_event to test the endpoint directly.
Check shanone_get_tool_schema for the exact evidence payload shape — PayPal requires specific evidence types (e.g. PROOF_OF_FULFILLMENT) rather than free-form text or arbitrary attachments.
