# Yahoo Finance

Shanone's Yahoo Finance integration gives your agent 4 tools for pulling market data via the unofficial `yfinance` library — quotes, historical prices, financial statements, and news, all without any authentication.

## Getting Started

## Troubleshooting

    Yahoo Finance tickers use exchange suffixes for non-US listings (e.g. `7203.T` for Tokyo-listed Toyota) — double-check the symbol format for the exchange you're targeting.

    Intraday intervals (`1m`, `5m`, `15m`) are only available for recent periods (typically the last 7-60 days depending on interval) — use a daily (`1d`) interval for longer historical ranges.
