# Wix

Shanone's Wix integration gives your agent 144 tools — the largest surface in Shanone's e-commerce/CMS integrations — spanning the online store, bookings, blog, CRM/contacts, custom data collections, and marketing/loyalty tools.

## Getting Started

  <Step title="Get your Wix API Key and Site ID">
    Generate an API Key from the Wix Dashboard under **Settings → API Keys**, and copy the **Site ID** from **Settings → Site ID**. See [Wix's REST API authentication docs](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/articles/authentication/rest-api-authentication) for details.

  <Step title="Connect via API key">
    In the Shanone dashboard, go to **Integrations → Wix** and enter both the API Key and Site ID.

    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `wix_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="Every call fails with an authentication error even with a valid API key">
    Wix API calls require both the API Key **and** the Site ID — a key alone isn't enough to scope the request to your site. Confirm both are set in **Integrations**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="wix_commit_draft_order doesn't create a real order">
    Draft orders are a staging step — build up line items and shipping info with `wix_update_draft_order_line_items`/`wix_set_draft_order_shipping_info` first, then call `wix_commit_draft_order` to convert it into a real order.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="wix_query_data_items returns nothing for a collection I know has data">
    Custom collections need their permission model checked with `wix_get_data_permissions` — some collections restrict read access by role, which can cause an API-key-based query to return an empty result set.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="wix_create_booking succeeds but the slot doesn't reflect availability elsewhere">
    Call `wix_get_service_availability` immediately before booking — availability can change between when your agent checked and when it books, especially for popular time slots.
