# Webex

Shanone's Webex integration gives your agent 27 tools for scheduling meetings and managing the spaces (rooms), teams, and messages people collaborate in.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Webex (e.g. "schedule a meeting for tomorrow at 3pm"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Approve Webex's OAuth consent screen for the account you want Shanone to act on.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `webex_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="webex_create_membership or webex_send_message fails with a not found error">
    Room, team, and person identifiers in Webex are opaque IDs, not emails or names — use `webex_list_rooms`/`webex_list_people` (or `webex_get_person`) to resolve the correct ID first.

  <Accordion title="webex_delete_room or webex_delete_team appears to succeed but content still shows elsewhere">
    Deleting a room or team is a moderator-level action; if the connected account isn't a moderator of that space, the call may fail silently depending on Webex's permission response — verify with `webex_get_membership` first.

    `webex_get_meeting` returns the scheduled meeting's core fields; invitee lists are managed separately and may require checking the meeting's associated room membership via `webex_list_memberships`.
