# Shopify

Shanone's Shopify integration gives your agent 149 tools covering nearly the full Admin REST surface — products, orders, fulfillment, customers, discounts, marketing, and storefront content — making it one of the most complete integrations for running commerce operations end-to-end.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Shopify (e.g. "list my top 10 best-selling products this month"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Shopify's OAuth flow needs to know which store to authorize — enter your shop name (the part before `.myshopify.com`) when prompted.

    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `shopify_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="shopify_create_product or shopify_update_product returns a 422 error">
    Shopify validates required fields (title, variant pricing) strictly — check `shanone_get_tool_schema` for `shopify_create_product` and ensure at least one variant with a price is included.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Getting rate-limited (429) on bulk operations">
    Shopify's Admin API enforces a leaky-bucket rate limit per store. Space out calls like `shopify_update_inventory_item` or `shopify_create_fulfillment` when processing large batches rather than firing them all at once.

  <Accordion title="shopify_cancel_order or shopify_delete_order fails on an already-fulfilled order">
    Orders with completed fulfillments or payments often can't be cancelled/deleted directly — use `shopify_create_refund` and `shopify_cancel_fulfillment` first to unwind the order.

  <Accordion title="Inventory adjustments don't seem to apply">
    `shopify_adjust_inventory_level` changes inventory relative to the current level, while `shopify_set_inventory_level` sets an absolute value — using the wrong one is the most common cause of unexpected stock counts.
