# Resend

Shanone's Resend integration gives your agent 69 tools covering transactional and broadcast email — sending, contacts/audiences/segments, domain verification, templates, suppressions, and webhooks.

## Getting Started

  <Step title="Create a Resend API key">
    Generate a key from the [Resend dashboard](https://resend.com/api-keys).

  <Step title="Add the key in Shanone">
    Go to **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard, select Resend, and paste in the key (`re_...`).

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once saved, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `resend_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="resend_send_email fails with a domain not verified error">
    The `from` address must use a domain that's passed verification — check status with `resend_get_domain` and complete `resend_verify_domain` after adding the required DNS records.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="resend_send_broadcast doesn't reach some contacts">
    Recipients on a suppression list (unsubscribed, bounced, or complained) are automatically excluded — check `resend_list_suppressions` if specific contacts seem to be missing.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="resend_update_email or resend_cancel_email returns an error after sending">
    Both only work on scheduled emails that haven't been delivered yet — once an email has actually sent, it can no longer be canceled or rescheduled.
