# Google Meet

Shanone's Google Meet integration gives your agent 14 tools for creating meeting spaces and pulling structured data out of past conferences — participants, recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated smart notes.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Meet (e.g. "summarize yesterday's standup transcript"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Approve Google's OAuth consent screen for the account whose Meet data Shanone should access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `google_meet_*` tools will succeed.

Shanone provides **14 tools** for Google Meet, organized into these categories:

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="google_meet_get_transcript or google_meet_get_smart_note returns nothing">
    Transcripts and smart notes are only generated when recording/transcription was enabled during the meeting and are subject to the Workspace admin's Meet feature settings — they aren't available retroactively for meetings that didn't have them turned on.

  <Accordion title="google_meet_list_conference_records returns an empty list for a space I know was used">
    Conference records are created per-instance of a meeting in a space; use `google_meet_get_space` first to confirm the space name/ID, then list records scoped to that space rather than assuming a global listing.

  <Accordion title="google_meet_create_space succeeds but the join link doesn't work for external users">
    Space access settings are controlled by the Workspace admin's Meet safety settings (e.g. "Only invited users can join without knocking") — this is configured outside Shanone in the Google Admin console.
