# Google Forms

Shanone's Google Forms integration gives your agent 16 tools for building forms, managing questions, reading submitted responses, and wiring up webhook-style watches for new responses.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Forms (e.g. "create a feedback form with 3 questions"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Approve Google's OAuth consent screen for the account whose Forms Shanone should access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `google_forms_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="google_forms_add_question fails with an invalid item structure error">
    Check the exact payload shape with `shanone_get_tool_schema` for `google_forms_add_question` — question types (text, choice, scale, date, etc.) each require a differently shaped item body.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="google_forms_create_watch notifications aren't arriving">
    Watches require a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic configured on the connected project and expire periodically — call `google_forms_renew_watch` before expiry, or re-create the watch with `google_forms_create_watch`.

  <Accordion title="google_forms_list_responses seems to be missing recent submissions">
    Forms responses can take a short time to index after submission; if they're still missing, confirm the form ID is correct rather than the form's edit URL ID versus its published URL ID, which differ.
