# Coincheck

> Trade and manage assets on Coincheck — orders, market data, transfers, and withdrawals

# Coincheck

Shanone's Coincheck integration gives your agent 24 tools for the Japanese crypto exchange: account balances, market data, order management, crypto transfers, and JPY withdrawals.

## Getting Started

  <Step title="Generate an API Key and Secret">
    In Coincheck, go to **設定 (Settings) → API** and create a new API Key/Secret pair with the permissions you need (order, withdraw, etc.).

  <Step title="Add credentials to Shanone">
    Open **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard, select Coincheck, and enter both the API Key and API Secret — both are required.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once saved, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `coincheck_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="coincheck_create_order or coincheck_create_withdraw fails with an authentication error">
    Coincheck signs every private request with an HMAC built from both the API Key and API Secret — if either is missing or the account's IP allowlist (if configured in Coincheck) doesn't include Shanone's egress IP, private endpoints will reject the request.

  <Accordion title="coincheck_cancel_withdraw or coincheck_cancel_order returns an error for a recent action">
    Orders and withdrawals can only be canceled while still pending; once Coincheck has started processing them (matched, or sent to the bank/network), cancellation is no longer possible.

  <Accordion title="Rate-related tools return stale or unexpected prices">
    `coincheck_get_rate` and `coincheck_calculate_rate` reflect Coincheck's own order book at request time, not an external index — always confirm with `coincheck_get_ticker` immediately before placing an order.
