# Base44

> Generate and edit full-stack apps from natural language, and query the data models Base44 builds for them

# Base44

Shanone's Base44 integration gives your agent 5 tools for AI-generated app development — creating and editing apps from a description, and inspecting/querying the entity schemas Base44 generates for their data.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to create or edit a Base44 app, or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

  <Step title="Authorize your Base44 account">
    Approve Base44's OAuth consent screen. Shanone talks to Base44's MCP server on your behalf using the resulting access token.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `base44_*` tools will succeed.

## Available Tools

Shanone provides **5 tools** for Base44:

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="base44_query_entities returns no entities found">
    Confirm the exact `entity_name` with `base44_list_entity_schemas` first — entity names are app-specific and case-sensitive.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="base44_edit_app makes an unexpected or overly broad change">
    Be as specific as possible in `edit_instructions` — vague instructions can lead Base44 to reinterpret more of the app than intended. Review the change and follow up with another targeted edit if needed.

  <Accordion title="base44_create_app succeeds but the app takes a while to become usable">
    App generation is asynchronous on Base44's side; the tool returns as soon as generation is accepted, not necessarily once the app is fully built and deployed.
