# Backlog

Shanone's Backlog integration gives your agent 96 tools — one of the deepest integrations in the catalog, covering issues, projects, wikis, Git/pull requests, and the administrative surface (teams, custom fields, notifications, watching) around them.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Backlog (e.g. "list open issues in my project"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Approve Backlog's OAuth consent screen for the specific space (subdomain) you want Shanone to access — Backlog's OAuth is scoped per-space rather than per-organization.

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `backlog_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="Any backlog_* call fails with a domain/space error">
    Backlog's OAuth is scoped to a single space (subdomain) at connection time — if you need to work across multiple Backlog spaces, reconnect the integration for each one.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="backlog_create_issue fails with an invalid issue type or category">
    Issue types, categories, and custom fields are all project-specific. Call `backlog_get_issue_types` or `backlog_get_categories` for the target project first to get valid IDs.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="backlog_create_pull_request succeeds but doesn't show the expected diff">
    Confirm the `base` and `branch` names exactly match existing Git branches in `backlog_get_git_repository` — Backlog won't auto-correct a mistyped branch name.
