# Attio

Shanone's Attio integration gives your agent 76 tools covering Attio's flexible object model — standard CRM records (companies, people, deals) alongside custom objects, lists, attributes, notes, comments, and tasks.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Attio (e.g. "list companies tagged as enterprise"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Approve Attio's OAuth consent screen for the workspace you want Shanone to access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `attio_*` tools will succeed.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="attio_create_record fails with an unknown attribute error">
    Attio's object schemas are workspace-specific and can include custom attributes. Call `attio_get_object_attributes` or `attio_list_attributes` first to confirm exact attribute slugs and types.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="attio_assert_record / attio_assert_entry behaves unexpectedly">
    These are upsert-style operations that match on a matching attribute (e.g. domain for companies) — if the match value is ambiguous or missing, Attio may create a duplicate instead of updating the intended record.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Select/status field updates are rejected">
    Enum-style attributes (select, status) require an exact option ID or title from `attio_get_select_options` — free-text values that don't match an existing option will fail unless you first create the option with `attio_create_select_option`.
