# Airtable

Shanone's Airtable integration gives your agent 55 tools for working with bases as structured databases — records, tables, fields, and views, plus the collaboration layer (comments, base collaborators, webhooks) that most simple Airtable wrappers skip.

## Getting Started

    Ask your agent to do something with Airtable (e.g. "list the records in my Projects table"), or connect proactively from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard.

    Airtable's OAuth consent screen lets you scope access to specific bases and workspaces — grant access to whichever ones you want Shanone to read or write.

  <Step title="Retry your request">
    Once connected, `shanone_execute_tool` calls for `airtable_*` tools will succeed for the bases you authorized.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="airtable_create_record fails with an unknown field error">
    Field names are case-sensitive and must match exactly. Call `airtable_get_table` or `airtable_get_base_schema` first to confirm the exact field names and types before writing.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="airtable_list_records only returns 100 records">
    Airtable paginates results by default. Use `airtable_list_records_paginated` with the returned offset, or `airtable_list_all_records` to automatically walk every page.

  <Accordion title="A base I can see in Airtable doesn't show up in airtable_list_bases">
    OAuth access is scoped per-base at connection time. Reconnect the integration from **Integrations** in the Shanone dashboard and grant access to the missing base.
